A few days ago I decided to start a webshop on TeePublic too!
So from now on, my designs will be available on products on Redbubble ánd TeePublic as well.
My findings so far (january 2024):
Advantages of TeePublic:
- Uploading to TeePublic is (partly because one size fits all) faster than on Redbubble.
- Many colors can be chosen for clothing on TeePublic than on Redbubble.
- Tapestries choice between portrait and landscape
- Simply choose background color via color pipette (Redbubble doesn't have one)
- More compact / less cumbersome
- A referral link which can be changed partly.
By the way, mine is: http://tee.pub/lic/creatwinkles - The shoplink can be changed too
- Choice of printing on the front or back, or both, on clothing
Benefits of Redbubble:
- The range of products on Redbubble is larger than on TeePublic
- Sharing available promotional images is easy
- Sharing webshop sections is also easy
- Templates for certain products
- Turn a png into a pattern
- Collect favorites on the spot and have the option to organize them clearly
- Optional keep design(s) private, if you wish. What Redbubble concerns: Only you can purchase the products with that artwork. Why this is an advantage? Consider personalized gifts, such as a photo of a loved one or personal congratulations, etc.
Similarities between TeePublic and Redbubble:
- A number of products: including T-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, rompers, mugs, stickers, magnets, phone cases, art prints
- Choose background colors for all products at once or products individually
- Overview of dimensions of types of products
- Follow other artists
- Gather designs: You can put together albums on TeePublic. On Redbubble it's called collections
- Obligation to checkmark if your content is mature (like only for 18+. Mine isn't.)
- Keep uploads private, to publish later.
TeePublic apparently belongs to Redbubble these days.
